Rules for manuscript preparation for publication in the Journal "One Health and Nutrition Problems of Ukraine"

Warning! This page contains technical requirements for publications in Journal. But it is not enough. It is strongly recommended to read Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

Editors of the Journal asks Authors to adhere to following rules of article preparation:

1. Only works that haven't previously been published in other Journals are accepted. The contents of articles must match the profile of the Journal.

2. Articles are published mainly in English. In order to preserve a wide range of readers, by the decision of the editorial board, certain materials may be published in Ukrainian in the Appendix "Ukrainian version of the articles of the Issue."

3. Articles should be accompanied by an official letter of the institution where the work was performed, signed by supervisor on the first page, approved by a seal of the institution.

4. The author's original must be submitted in two forms -- printed on paper (2 copies) and electronic (on a magnetic medium or sent by e-mail); electronic and print versions must be identical.

5. On the first page must be placed UDC (Universal Decimal classifier), title, initials, surname and academic degree (rank) of Author(s), the institution where it is made, city and country.

6. The article must be personally signed by all authors. Separately, you must specify the name and patronymic, scientific degree, academic rank, position, address, telephone (fax) number, e-mail of Author (or Authors) with whom Editorial Board can negotiate.

7. The structure of the main text of the original research article should correspond to the generally accepted structure for the scientific articles and consist of the following sections: "Introduction", "Purpose", "Materials and methods", "Results and discussion", "Conclusions".

8. The summary should contain the full title of the article, the author's surname and initials, keywords (5 to 10 words or phrases that reveal the content of the article) in two languages: Ukrainian and English (the translation must be of high-quality and accurate); the length of the resume must be not less than 250-300 words, the first summary in the language in which the article is written. The structure of each summary is similar to the structure of the article (purpose, materials and methods, results and discussions, conclusions). Correctly written resume and selected keywords contribute to the correct display of your publications in international science-computer systems.

9. Cited literature should be submitted separately from the text and prepared according to the international standard widely used in medicine — Vancouver Style.

Recommendations for preparing References list in the Vancouver style:

The title of the list of used sources — References. The title is centered.

Sources are numbered and organized in the list of references in the order of their mention in the article text.

Each source cited in the paper should appear in the list of used sources. Similarly, each entry in the list of used sources should be mentioned in the text of the article.

If the publication has up to six authors, the reference should list them all separated by commas. If there are more than six authors, it is necessary to list six authors separated by comma and add "et al."

The reference should hold a reduced number of pages where possible, for example, if the citation is on pages 123–124, the reference should be 123–4 and titles of the journals should be abbreviated. The list of abbreviations can be found following these links:
